Duncan is the Founder of Learn Amp; a learning and engagement platform with a mission to ‘make work-life work better’. Learn Amp makes it easier for you to build, retain and improve team capability as well as manage risk and track compliance. It’s been described as both the ‘Netflix meets Spotify of Learning’ and the ‘TripAdvisor of Learning’. It’s recently been cited as the best platform in its space globally. Duncan has spent nearly 20 years championing UK enterprise and has worked with over 1,000 entrepreneurs.
In 2003, Duncan set up The Supper Club, now home to nearly 500 of Britain’s most innovative, high growth entrepreneurs. The Club has hosted around 2,500 events and is on a mission “to inspire an entrepreneurial mindset in all leaders”. It offers insight and advanced learning for entrepreneurs and corporates.
He was a Co-Founder of StartUp Britain, launched by the Prime Minister in March 2011 and was a Non Exec of the Start Up Loans Company for its first year. Duncan has chaired, sat or sits on the Advisory Boards of the The Start Up Loans Company, Sheffield University Management School, the Centre for Entrepreneurs’ think tank and the Demeter Network.
Prior to all this, he’s been a failed cowboy in outback Brazil and a rather better Finance Director for a VC-backed publishing group, with variety of other jobs in between.
